An overwhelming 94 percent of Filipinos believe President Rodrigo R. Duterte can fulfill his promises, a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey released Friday showed.
The survey showed that 48 percent of adult Filipinos expect the President to fulfill most, if not all, of his promises.
Results indicate that 13 percent said Duterte can fulfill "all or nearly all" and 35 percent said he can fulfill "most" of his promises while 46 percent said the Chief Executive can fulfill "a few" of his promises.
Duterte’s net satisfaction rating was an “excellent +85” among those who say he can fulfill “all or nearly all” of his promises, an “excellent +80” among those expecting he can fulfill “most” of his promises, and a “good +46” among those who say he can fulfill “a few” of his promises.
The ratings also showed a steady recovery from the September 2017 record-low of 35 percent to 48 percent in the December 2018 survey on people who expected “most, if not all”, of Duterte's promises to be fulfilled.
Only 6 percent of Filipinos said Duterte can fulfill “none or almost none” of his promises.
The survey was conducted from December 16 to 19, 2018 with 1,440 respondents, with a margin of error of ±2.6 percent.
