Filipino Engineer Brilliantly creates School Chairs out of Recycled Plastic ♻️


This brilliant Filipino engineer recycles plastic garbage and made it into school chairs.

Filipinos are known to be hard working, efficient, resourceful, and talented in all fields and industry. Different countries put a high regard and speaks highly of Filipinos because of the service they render and it always surpasses their employer's expectation.


Speaking of resourceful, one Filipino engineer from Southern Philippines found a brilliant idea in turning plastic garbage into something useful.



Winchester Lemen, a mechanical engineer from Davao City, Philippines found a way to recycle plastic garbage turning garbage into cute school chairs.



He aims to find a way to recycle plastic and now running the Envirotech Waste Recycling a project to turn plastic garbage into chairs.



His project doesn't just reduce the number of mismanaged plastic waste but also benefits school children at the same time.


According to the United Nations Environment Programme, the Philippines generates about 6875.84 tons of plastic each day.



They collect plastic garbages, shredded, cleaned, melted, and then molded it. They then assembled, sanded, and painted.


“Little did I know that he showed the chairs to Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista. After that, they created a ‘Green Fund’ for this particular project,” Lemen told SmartParenting.

“We are saving a three-year-old tree, which is used to manufacture school chairs, for every plastic chair that we make using recycled plastic waste,” said Lemen.
