WATCH: Garbage Collector na Ama, Ipinagmamalaki ng Anak

In an episode of GMA Network's Wowowin's afternoon game show, the fun, tears, and inspiration are overwhelming because of the story of a father doing everything to teach children and living their own family.

In the YouTube video of Wowowin, in the episode where teenagers undergoing the summer workshop are players in the Willie of Fortune portion, the story of senior high school student Andrew from Payatas, Quezon City in connection with his father businessman to finance his studies and live his family.


When asked by host, Andrew Willie Revillame, what his dad's job was, the young man immediately said that his father's job was collecting and trading garabage. Shortly, Andrew introduced the father and gave it a chance to talk to Revillame.

“Kayo po ay… anong ginagawa n’yo,” tanong ni Revillame.

“Isa po akong kolektor ng basura sa Payatas,” sagot ng matanda.

“Palakpakan natin si Tatay Tuning… Isang karangalan na trabaho yan ah. Marangal,” dagdag ni Revillame


When Revillame's message was made by Mang Tuning for Andrew, he said that he wanted to improve his studies and education because he could only provide so much as a parent.

And when Andrew gave the message to the father, here the young man's emotions had come to an end and said he was proud of the father of the garbage collector.

“Pa, ipinagmamalaki ko po kayo kasi po… hindi po porke’t nangungulekta kayo ng basura ay dapat ko na po kayong ikahiya. Dahil po sa basurang iyon, may pantustos po kayo sa aming magkakapatid. Mahal na mahal po kita, Pa,” sabi ni Andrew habang hindi mapigilang maging emosyonal.

The entire studio audience were also in tears because of the father's story. Revillame said this is the reality of life, where there are people who suffer from extreme pain and struggle.

Revillame gave P10,000 Tatay Tuning to Andre's sister who is a special child and will help assist her medication.

Tatay Tuning was very happy with the gift he received because P300 is a huge amount for him and more than a day's work.
